I research how educational technology can increase motivation and engagement among college students in the Spanish language classroom. My focus lies in designing and evaluating digital tools that foster meaningful, student-centered learning experiences in higher education. I am particularly interested in how technology reshapes classroom dynamics, supports diverse learning styles, and promotes autonomy, creativity, and long-term language retention.
At the University of Florida, I explore these themes through interdisciplinary approaches to cognition, design, and sociocultural learning. My goal is to contribute to scalable, research-based solutions that improve language instruction and ensure more equitable, engaging, and effective learning environments.
