Celebrating our 7th year dancing together!
Welcome to our dance family at Baldwin Oaks Academy! Let your curious little mover enjoy all the benefits that our fantastic creative movement dance program has to offer. Our 9 month program runs from September through May and culminates in a Spring Showcase at the end of the school year. It is exclusive to BOA's current students and is available for both Pre-Primary and Primary students.
Ms. Natalia is the proud owner and director of the program. With over 10 years of experience in teaching young dancers, she has been able to craft a unique and comprehensive dance curriculum that introduces children to their rich and infinite capacity for movement, storytelling and artistry!
Physical language is at the core of our learning experience. We learn about the world as we move in it and with it, therefore physical language shapes and informs the way in which we understand our surroundings and ourselves.
As a crystalization of physical language, dance can provide unparallel benefits that can enrich an individual's intellectual, artistic and social skills. Studying dance through a creative movement approach stimulates creative expression, encourages team exploration and cooperation, and provides self-confidence, while also improving coordination and flexibility.
Our annual Spring Showcase is an informal performance that allows the dancers to share everything they work on throughout the year! An essential aspect of the performing arts, live performance provides an exceptional opportunity to continue to build confidence, develop teamwork and cooperation, while empowering self expression and creativity!
" We feel so fortunate to have Mrs Natalia introduce dance to our girls. The naturality and joy in her classes makes anyone fall in love with it. One of their most adorable memories we cherish was during their end of season recitals - absolutely precious! Thank you Mrs Natalia for sharing your passion and for caring for our little ones! We highly recommend every and any child to explore dance with you!".

"Ms. Natalia’s dance class is a highlight of our daughter’s week at BOA. Through creativity, play, and movement Ms. Natalia fosters creative expression and builds confidence in her students. Her passion for teaching and dance is contagious. I highly recommend enrolling your child in the after-school dance program. Looking forward to many more Wednesday afternoon dance classes!".

"My daughter was part of the dance program for three years and had a great experience. She looked forward to Ms. Natalia’s class every week. Each year you could see her skills growing, but more importantly she gained confidence in her teamwork and presentation skills. The season ended with a recital which gives the students an opportunity to showcase what they have learned. Ms. Natalia is patient, creative and had her students learn through having fun! I would definitely recommend all students participate in the afterschool dance program".

"First off, Natalia is an incredible, gifted, and competent educator who cares deeply about her students. Her ability to weave structure and fun, left and right brain, is unmatched in our experience. Our Daughter Sophia has attended 2 seasons of classes and 2 recitals, and she carries a level of confidence in her body and individuality that is unique. We attribute a great deal of this confidence to her experience with Natalia and her expert guidance. We are forever grateful for the service that she has provided to our little ballerina and will continue to work with her for years to come!".
