I'm a PhD Student at the MPI MiS under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Anna Wienhard. My interests include geometric group theory, hyperbolic geometry, and probability. My current research is related to Poisson-Voronoi tessellations on hyperbolic space.
Before starting my PhD, my studies were mainly in mathematical biology. I completed my master's at the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Dr. Brian Ingalls; my thesis described a novel method of using probabilistic graphical models to analyze imaging data of bacterial conjugation.
I'm also passionate about teaching and outreach - see my CV for more details.
