About the Artist

Nasirah Dupont (she/her) 

Freelance Illustrator based in Providence, Rhode Island.

Born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, Nasirah's artistic journey began at age 7 drawing flowers and many small creatures such as butterflies, ladybugs, and birds outside her home. She pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration at Rhode Island School of Design, where she would study with a focus on concept work which included character design and visual development. Her study and focus as of recent shifted to painting, using art for self-exploration. Her work explores themes of self-love, mental well-being, and nature with mythical influences.
