NASHVILLE YARDS CHRISTMAS TREE

Holiday programming at Nashville Yards officially kicked off with a tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, November 29 at 5:00 PM. The ceremony was open to the public and included guest host Storme Warren, a holiday performance by students from The Goddard School, a live DJ, free pictures with Santa courtesy of Ascension Saint Thomas, free hot chocolate courtesy of Pinnacle Financial Partners, and the grand opening of Union Station’s Holiday-themed Pop-Up Bar under Broadway.

Facts about the Nashville Yards Christmas tree:

• 37’ tall, 17’ diameter and weighs approximately 5,000 lbs

•  Extracted from the forest by helicopter to prevent damage to nearby trees

• Lit by more than 1,200 lights 

• The top of the tree rises above the Broadway bridge in front of Union Station Nashville Yards
