Colors: Tennessee Orange, white and Smokey Gray.
Hex codes: Tennessee Orange #FF8200, White #FFFFFF, Smokey Gray #4B4B4B.
The university's brand page dates orange as the school color to 1891 and says white and Smokey should accent the orange. It also says black is not part of the palette.
On lights: orange and white. Smokey Gray as a light is only a dim white, and it fades out next to orange. The orange code is full red, about half green and no blue. Many LED strings show those numbers as more yellow than a screen does, so if the house looks yellow from the street, bring the green down until it reads orange.

Colors (athletics): Flat Gold, Rich Black, White, Black and Dark Gray. The university's main palette also lists Metallic Gold.
Hex codes: Flat Gold #CFAE70, Rich Black #000000, White #FFFFFF, Black #1C1C1C, Dark Gray #777777. The athletics page says to use the hex codes for digital work. Metallic Gold is listed as a range, #FEEEB6 to #B49248, rather than one value.
On lights: black cannot be lit. A black section of a roofline is a section of lights turned off. Flat Gold carries a fair amount of blue (112 out of 255), and on a light that reads as a pale, creamy gold that can pass for warm white from across the street. Taking the blue out gives a gold that reads as gold. For black, try gold with a light switched off between each gold one.

Colors: MTSU True Blue and Midnight Murphy (primary), Floyd Gray and Raider Navy (secondary).
Hex codes: MTSU True Blue #007BC3, Midnight Murphy #343636, Floyd Gray #A6A8AA, Raider Navy #004776.
The brand page calls True Blue the dominant color and says secondary colors are never used alone.
On lights: True Blue holds up well because its blue channel is near full. Midnight Murphy is a charcoal, which as light is a faint gray. Run True Blue on its own or break it up with white.

Colors: Belmont Blue (primary) and Belmont Red (secondary).
Hex codes: none listed here. Belmont keeps separate print and screen versions of each color on its brand page, so check the codes there.
Belmont's own guidance suggests roughly 70 percent Belmont Blue and 30 percent red plus an accent in a design. On a roofline, that means long runs of blue with shorter breaks of red.
