Pricing

Most of the app content is available for free, including viewing over 300 texts and joining live sessions. Creating accounts is also free and enables users to save bookmarks, follow other users and host private sessions. All actions related to accounts are done in the profile page, accessed by the profile icon at the top of the home screen.

POINT OF GENERAL CONFUSION: no payments are set up yet so this is all currently free.

Here are the optional packages for advanced features and functionality:

Learner's Package

This package is available for £9.99 as a one-off payment, intended for people with an interest in learning the technicalities of the inshad available, such as drum beats, improvisational melodies and solos.

Unlock ALl Texts

You'll notice some texts in the archive are locked for viewing, including:

technical pieces which are more traditional and often complex poems;
exclusive texts such as original English poems;
event-specific texts.

With this package comes full access to all of the above with the same features (transliteration, vowelling) as before.

In the standard reader, the more complex melodies will come with the full musical score to supplement learning.

Sample Audios

Coming Soon: we are working on providing sample audios for every text available to showcase the melody and drum beat.

This will be available in-app when you open the text in the standard viewer.

More Text Info

Coming soon: practical information such as the drum beat and metre will be added to the 'Info' section.

You will also have the option to see the translation, similarly to the transliteration.

Public Hosting Package

This subscription offers more with the live session service for £2.99 per month, intended for regular users who are looking for more convenience and control in sharing lyrics over the app.

Get Followers

With your public profile, you can get your friends to follow you and see your live sessions appear in the app. Gone are the days of sending codes.

(The key is getting them to follow you the first time)

Share Bookmarks

Set any of your saved sets to 'Public' to let your followers see them too on your profile. They can even save the set to their own bookmarks.

How To Follow Other Users:

Click the profile icon in the top of the home page to find user profiles
Switch to the 'Following' tab to see the list of public profiles
Find the right profile by looking for the correct display name or account ID
Click 'follow' and wait for the request to carry out

From then on, they can see your public sets in this profile page, and they can see your live sessions come up in the live session window in the home page.

Collaborate With Other Users (Upcoming)

You can share medleys and even live streams with your own personal group. Create a 'band' and invite some friends to join you or there's no point. DISCLAIMER: all the members of the band must be on this subscription to join.

You can set a band name, description and cover photo for others on the app to see and perhaps follow.

Shared Medleys

In your band page, you will a 'Shared Medleys' section which you can add to from your own personal library, or by creating a new set.

These medleys are the bases for your group readings and can be used to host joint sessions.

Live Sessions

Once you have a shared medley, you can start a live session hosted jointly by the admins in the group.

This means there is no longer one person in charge of navigation and you can assign roles to manage the session better.

Verified Hosting Package

Go fully public as a verified host for £19.99 per month. This package is meant for established venues and organisations.

Public Streaming

Your live sessions will appear for all users on the app and your followers will get notified when a session is started. Within the session you can see your viewer count; you can track engagement of past live sessions in your own profile as well.

To access this package you will need to contact an admin.

Alongside being public, your profile as a verified host also includes past live sessions and medleys you've featured, as well as optional audio or video attachments from the actual gathering. Your followers can see these and add the medleys to their own personal library.

The organisation account can have multiple users registered to it, but will always have the one owner (from which the payment goes out).
