Dear North Andover School Parent,
For more than 20 years, the North Andover Schools’ Enrichment Council (NASEC) has been enhancing the classroom curriculum with in-school performances by artists and educators. We strive each year to fulfill our mandate, which is to coordinate enrichment programs on a town-wide basis so that each child has the same experience regardless of what school they attend. We work closely with your children’s teachers to make sure the programs truly expand upon their classroom learning. In past years our children have listened to authors, talked with paleontologists, learned about world cultures, danced to the rhythms from far away places and put science in motion.
Although NASEC serves all North Andover schools from kindergarten to eighth grade, we receive no funding from the town or school district. NASEC receives a portion of its funds from PTOs, corporations, foundations and special events, but it is only with individual donations, from parents like you, that we are able to fully fund current programs. The average cost per student for NASEC programs is $16.00 per year, and each child attends an average of four programs a year. That is less than the average cost of a single out-of-school field trip, making the value of bringing outside performers into our schools via NASEC cost effective, time productive and an invaluable tool in educating our children.
Your tax-deductible gift of $50 will provide enrichment programs for two students for the entire year! A gift of $100 would greatly assist the NASEC in continuing to bring quality programs into the school and support the curriculum! Please consider making a meaningful gift to support what your children are learning in school.

Matching Gifts
Double your gift without doubling your check. Many companies will match their employees' charitable contributions. If you are planning to support NASEC this year, please check with your HR Department to find out if your company has a Matching Gift program. Often, all you need to do is fill out a form with our Tax-ID number, which is 04-3053316. If NASEC needs to fill out the form, just send it along. It's quick and easy!
Payroll Deductions
At many companies, employees support their favorite nonprofit each month through payroll deductions. Does your company have this program? If the answer is yes, we hope you'll support NASEC. If you are not sure, we encourage you to contact the HR or Community Relations Department to find out.
