Overview

NASDAQ is a free stock market tracker. This policy explains how the app handles information. It is an independent app and is not an official product of, or affiliated with, Nasdaq, Inc.

The app shows quotes, charts, news, a watchlist, a manual portfolio, a market calendar, and price alerts. It is not a broker, exchange, or investment adviser. It does not take deposits, place live brokerage orders, pay cash prizes, or guarantee returns.

We do not require an account and we do not ask you to sign in. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, address, date of birth, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location.

The app stores data locally on your device, including your watchlist, manual portfolio holdings, price alerts, recent searches, theme, language, currency, notification preference, and onboarding status. This data stays on your device. We do not upload it to our servers as a personal profile.

When a market-data key is configured, quote, chart, company, and news requests are sent to the data provider. Those requests contain symbols and time ranges, not your name or an account. Without a key, the app shows labeled demo data and does not present those prices as live quotes.

The app shows ads through Google AdMob so it can stay free: a banner on screens, and an interstitial ad after every 3 taps. Google and its partners may collect the device advertising ID, approximate location from the IP address, ad interaction data, and technical device data, according to Google policies. We do not use that information as a personal account.

You can limit ad personalization: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

The app uses Internet to load quotes, news, and ads, and Notifications for price alerts you turn on. We do not ask for camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, or precise location.

The app is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Uninstall the app, or go to: Settings → Apps → NASDAQ → Storage → Clear storage.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be shown in the app.
