Ozone

Ozone is the gas that helps protect us from the UV (ultra-violet) rays from the Sun. These UV rays are harmful to our health as they can cause damage to the skin. The darker it is, the more layers of ozone there is in that place. Dobson units are the units that ozone is measured in, each unit is equal to about 0.01 mm.
