Nasah or nasa is a Hebrew word which means endurance and excellence.
Nasah has a dynamic and well-developed curricular infrastructure that combines lecture and problem-based activities. It includes a holistic approach to character formation and intellectual development.
The Nasah curriculum offers an academic program that builds basic skills development, an extensive co-curricular program and a strong Christian and values formation program to promote a culture of excellence and develop the students to well-rounded individuals and responsible members of the society.
NASAH is committed to providing rigorous instruction in a safe, caring, respectful learning community that fosters parental involvement in order to develop all students into lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
Our redesigned school day gives students more time with their academic enrichment, especially in the fields of English and Math. With the longer sessions, students can explore a remarkable variety of enrichment activities, as well as a range of programs in social and emotional learning. All these activities contribute mightily to helping children receive a truly well-rounded education.
Its academic subjects include Math, English, Filipino, Science and Health, Social Studies, Music, Art, and Physical Education, Robotics and STEM Education and Christian and Values Education. Elective subjects include Journalism I and II, Public Speaking and Creative Writing.
Singapore Math and Science Curriculum is recognized as the best curriculum in the world. Based on the study conducted by Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS), the authority in measuring education standards, Singapore consistently ranked 1 in both Science and Math in world rankings.
Singapore Math is concept-based, with a progression from visual to pictorial to abstract that ends with mastery. It is not “New Math” – it is math the way it should be taught; math the way mathematicians understand it.... it is conceptual, not algorithmic; visual not rote, and it is fun. Fun to teach and fun to learn, since it is based on understanding , not memorization.
“Every child is considered brilliant with unlimited potential”, thus says Dr. Maria Montessori. Nasah is a progressive school which uses a combination of the Montessori and the Reggio Emilia approaches. We offer a unique, open environment that emphasizes your child’s natural interests and allows your child to reach his fullest potential.
At Nasah, the child is the center of learning. Students experience a holistic, child-centered program that has in its core a profound respect for the individual child and an understanding that each child is unique and develops at his or her own pace.
The harmonious atmosphere of the Montessori classroom provides students with the skills and knowledge to build a community and manage conflict and change in a peaceful manner.
