MARIYA PARODI WINS GOLD STEVIE® AWARD IN 2025 INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AWARDS®
Ovar, Portugal – 13 August 2025 – Mariya Parodi of Narrative Tides was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Communications Professional of the Year category in The 22nd Annual International Business Awards® today.
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small - are eligible to submit nominations. The 2025 IBAs received nominations from organizations and individuals in 78 nations and territories.
Winners will be celebrated during a gala banquet at the Corinthia Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal on Friday, 10 October.
More than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Company of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Startup of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others.
Judges praised Parodi’s work and influence. “Mariya Parodi’s nomination is a powerful demonstration of high-impact, strategic communications that consistently shape global narratives in challenging sectors like human rights,” commented one of the judges. “The breadth and depth of her work, combined with measurable media reach and tangible influence on policy discourse, are exceptional. The nomination is well-documented and clearly distinguishes her from peers.”
Another judge shared, “The achievements are genuinely impressive and well-contextualized within the challenging nonprofit media landscape.”

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 250 executives worldwide, who participated in the judging process in May - July.
Other communications Gold winners included Philip Morris International for the PR Campaign of the Year - Corporate Communications category and Mastercard’s External Communications Team for Communications Team of the Year.
