My family and I were traveling to my Aunt and Uncle's house in Kentucky. On our way to Columbia, Kentucky, we passed what looked like a raccoon but Mom thought it was a cat. So Jeff(driver) turned around and we went back. Sure enough, it was this puppy eating something dead on the side of the road. no markings, tags, collars, etc. We found her right outside of Liberty Kentucky (thus her name). picked her up, flea, tick, and worse, worm infestation. We bought her a flea collar first thing. For about one day she wouldn't eat anything. Not even my chicken tenders! She grew attached to me from the second she lay on my lap. We bought soft food and she ate that up the following morning when he had arrived at my Aunts.   I had always wanted my dog but my parents wanted a dog-free house once the other two German shepherds were out.
