Nestled in the beautiful Nariel Valley, just 12 kilometres from Corryong, Nariel Creek Recreation Reserve is a peaceful, family-friendly camping destination situated along the picturesque Nariel Creek.
With its beautiful shady trees, open spaces and creek frontage, the Reserve has long been a favourite place for families, campers and visitors to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Upper Murray.
The Reserve also has a proud connection to the historic Nariel Creek Folk Festival, a much-loved local tradition dating back to 1962.
Proudly Volunteer Run
What makes our Reserve particularly special is that it is run and maintained by a small group of dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and effort to keep the grounds welcoming and accessible for everyone.
From mowing and maintaining the grounds to looking after facilities and managing the Reserve, these volunteers work tirelessly behind the scenes.
We are incredibly grateful for their commitment and community spirit.
Affordable Camping for Everyone
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful part of Australia, which is why we keep camping affordable at just $5 per camp, per night outside the Folk Festival period.
Every camping fee helps contribute towards the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the Reserve.
We kindly ask all visitors to respect the grounds, follow the signposted rules and help us look after this special place for future generations.
A beautiful place to visit, made possible by the dedication of volunteers and the support of our camping community.
