Personal Information

Welcome to my home page. Currently, I am working with  Siemens Corporate Technology at Princeton, NJ, USA as a Staff Research Scientist- Autonomous Control Systems . Prior to this, I was a Principal Scientist-Control & Optimization at ABB Global Industries and Services Limited at Bangalore, India, where i worked between November 2010- May 2017.  During November 2008-October 2010, I held a Post Doctorate Research Associate position at Control System Engineering Laboratory (CSEL), Arizona State University, Tempe (AZ), USA. I received the B.E.  degree in chemical engineering from D.D.I.T. (Now, D.D.U.), Nadiad, Gujarat, India, the M.Tech.  degree in chemical plant design  from National Institute of Technology Surathkal, Karnataka, India and the Ph.D.  degree in the area of process control and optimization from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India.  My doctoral thesis is oriented towards computationally efficient modeling, control and optimization scheme for Nonlinear Hybrid Dynamical Systems (NHDS). During my doctoral research work, I gained insights and a deeper understanding in the areas of hybrid systems and their optimization. In consequence, my broad research interest stem from the field of process control engineering.
