Prospects of Detecting Monopole Signals Using Interferometers - My talk at the Workshop on 21-cm Cosmology, held at IIT Madras on 13th December 2024. Single-element radiometers are sensitive to monopole sky signals, but interferometers are immune to additive systematics! Can we exploit this advantage?
APSERa - an upcoming S-band cosmology radiometer - My first conference talk during PhD at the URSI conference on radio science on 25th October 2024. Science goals and experimental updates for the experiment at RRI to look for signals from the epoch of recombination.
Pretty nervous, sweaty, parched throat, stuttering voice, ahh! I definitely needed a pause midway, alas, pushed through!
Science documentary on math in space applications - A naive attempt to convey the use of mathematics in astronomy! This was in the 3rd year of my B.Tech at VIT, Vellore in 2019. Heavily motivated by Prof. Brain Greene, a string theorist and encouraging support from my teammates Sharvari and Utkarsh, we pulled this one out.
P.S. We managed to bag the first place! xD
A short talk about, err talks! xD
A short presentation on how to give talks, as a part of MSc coursework at NIT Rourkela. Inspired heavily by Prof. Nissim Kanekar, NCRA. His talk on how one should give presentations are a treat and sure shot face-saver when it comes to presenting one's works without boring the audience!
