My Story

I was also a home buyer in Bay Area and wondered why for every home sale, seller needs to pay 5% in transaction costs. This just causes prices to go up for buyers & sellers since sellers want to recover the cost from the buyer through higher prices. Every buyer will also eventually be a seller as they try to upgrade. For a million dollar house its 50k in transaction cost. I thought I needed to help change this. I became a real estate agent and am offering special rebates to both buyers and sellers when you self serve some of the activities like looking at homes online and during open houses. Why now ?

With the internet and mobile revolution most buyers and sellers in Bay Area are very familiar with how to find homes on apps and websites. They can also see the homes in open houses. Sellers also typically know what their home is worth. I did not see anyone offer a service where these could be self-serve and then reduce the cost of transaction.

Prior Education and Experience

I have a Bachelors in Computer Science from University of Mumbai and Masters in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M. I have worked in the Tech Industry at Google LLC in Bay area for 17 years.
