Focus Area
Our target group consists of 23 women from Batiaghata village near the Kajibacha River in Khulna District, Bangladesh. These women have migrated from nearby villages due to climate-induced displacement and economic hardships. They struggle with limited employment opportunities, making it difficult to secure stable incomes and sustain their families.
NAREE aims to equip them with practical skills in fabric upcycling, sustainable entrepreneurship, and financial literacy, providing them with a stable source of income while promoting environmental sustainability.
NAREE is dedicated to empowering women through sustainable initiatives that address climate change, skill development, and waste management. Our key focus areas include:
Climate Education – Raising awareness and educating communities about climate change and sustainable practices.
Skill Development – Providing hands-on training in upcycling, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
Waste Management – Transforming fabric waste into valuable products, promoting responsible consumption.
Women Empowerment – Creating opportunities for women to gain financial independence and leadership roles.
At NAREE, we create eco-friendly products using upcycled fabric waste, ensuring sustainability at every step:
