Purpose

The Numerical Analysis Research Cluster (NARC) exists to:

Foster excellence in research and education in numerical analysis, scientific computing, and applied mathematics.
Promote collaboration across Nigerian institutions and with international partners in academia and industry.
Create opportunities for early-career researchers, PhD students, and practitioners to present, discuss, and refine their work.
Provide a platform for knowledge exchange through regular seminars, workshops, and outreach activities.
Bridge the gap between theory and application by supporting research that addresses real-world problems using numerical and computational methods.
Champion visibility for African mathematicians in the global research landscape.

What we've done

Since inception, the Numerical Analysis Research Cluster has consistently organized monthly seminars that bring together researchers and students to explore cutting-edge topics in numerical methods and their applications. These seminars have featured discussions on:

“Neural ODEs, fractional differential equations, stability, and real-world applications in complex dynamical systems that cut across science, agriculture, epidemiology and engineering.”
