Management, Leadership, and Decision-making in Public, Private, and Nonprofit Organizations.

I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Strategic Leadership Studies in the College of Business at James Madison University. I earned my Ph.D. in public administration from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. I study about the processes and consequences of organizational behavior in public, private, and nonprofit organizations. My current research focuses on board governance, collaborative governance, and volunteer management. My research draws on organizational theories and uses econometrics, network analysis, and data analytics.
