Management, Leadership, and Decision-making in Public, Private, and Nonprofit Organizations.
I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Strategic Leadership Studies in the College of Business at James Madison University. I am also a visiting researcher at the Gradel Institute of Charity in New College, University of Oxford. I earned my Ph.D. in public administration from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. My research and teaching focus on the processes and consequences of organizational behavior across public, private, and nonprofit contexts. My current work examines organizational governance and institutional form, executive leadership and board governance, and social entrepreneurship.
