BP Fellowship Awarded
Our lab has been selected for the BP Fellowship. We are pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Kamel, who will join us through this program. We sincerely thank the National Research Foundation (NRF) for their support.
Exciting news! A reserach paper titled, "Enhancing radiation resilience of wide bandgap perovskite solar cells for space applications via A-site organic cation stabilization using PDAI2 treatment" has been accepted for publication in Joule.

Invited to present at the Korean Microscopy Society with a talk titled "Ferroic Domains and Nanoscale Properties in Hybrid Perovskites."
Attended the 2025 Spring Conference of the Korean Society for New and Renewable Energy. Participated in the invited session with a talk titled "Nanoscale Analysis using Scanning Probe Microscopy for Elucidating Degradation Mechanisms in Dry-Processed Silicon/Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells." Also participated in the project kick-off meeting during the conference.
Congratulations! NFOL has been finally selected for the Research project named "Degradation Mechanism Investigation to Improve the Stability of Dry-Processed Perovskite Top Cells", under the New and Renewable Energy Core Technology Development Program of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP). The total research and development period for this project is from April 2025 to March 2028.
Dr. Kim gave a talk exploring how 2D ferroelectric domains facilitate efficient charge separation in perovskite solar cells.
Congratulations! Dr. Kim's co-corresponding author paper, "Efficient Charge Seperation at localized 2D Ferroelectric Domains in Perovskite Solar Cells" has been accepted for publication in Energy & Environmental Science.
