Perspective students:
Undergraduate students: please contact Dr. Mohamed Laradji (director of undergraduate study, email: mlaradji@memphis.edu) or Dr. Hoang directly. We have projects open all year round.
Master and PhD students: please contact Dr. Xiao Shen (director of graduate study, email: xshen1@memphis.edu) and Dr. Hoang directly. Generally, graduate students must submit their application materials and be selected by the graduate committee through the Fall and Spring semesters.
Current opening PhD position: We currently have a PhD position open. The project aims to experimentally investigate the light-matter interaction in single plasmonic and photonic nanostructures. Student will be involved in: nano-fabrication, micro-photoluminescence, single particle spectroscopy, time-correlated single photon spectroscopy. Interested candidates should contact Dr. Xiao Shen (director of graduate study, email: xshen1@memphis.edu) for an application process and Dr. Hoang directly.
