NanoBio Group

SCNS, JNU, New Delhi, India

The NanoBioGroup at SCNS, JNU is lead by Dr. Partima Solanki. The main research area of the group is the integration of nano-technology methods, tools and materials into various biosensor platforms for applications in environmental and clinical analysis. Presently, miniaturization of medical diagnostic tools has the potential to restructure our healthcare systems for which microfluidic point of care biosensors open the doors. The group is working on microfluidic biosensors. Also pesticide biosensors for food and environmental safety are also being studied. Heavy metal detection and water purification is also the area of research in the group.
