Research:
Dr. Hong’s research is based on atomic scale modeling and simulations of chemical/physical processes of complex nanostructured systems using reactive and quantum molecular dynamics simulations.
His current research interest includes 1. computational design and discovery of novel engineering materials; 2. STEM education using computer simulations and virtual reality (VR) technologies.
