Quentin-Arthur Poutrel

Quentin completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nantes, studying mathematics and fundamental Physics. He obtained his Master Degree in Nanosciences, nanomaterials and nanotechnologies (C’nano) at the University of Nantes in 2016. After working at the University of Manchester on the dispersion and alignment of graphene nanoplatelets in epoxy resin, Quentin chose to pursue a PhD in ‘Development and recycling of multifunctional reinforced vitrimer matrices for aerospace applications’. His research currently focuses on developing new reinforced polymer matrix (thermoset-based, called vitrimer) for high performance applications with healable, reprocessable and recyclable properties.
