Katie Lewthwaite

Katie started her PhD project in April 2019 following a six month taught program as part of a CDT in Science and Applications of Graphene and Related Nanomaterials. She graduated from the University of Sheffield with a masters degree in chemistry in 2018. In her PhD project, she aims to develop methods of fabricating three-dimensional porous graphene structures for use as battery electrodes. The project is supervised by Dr Suelen Barg and Prof Robert Dryfe and is in collaboration with William Blythe.
