Centre for Nanotechnology Research (CNR) | Research Center Centre for Nanotechnology Research is one of the Research Centres in VIT and it gives an opportunity to students to participate in exciting research projects.

About myself,

Mr. Sudip is an enthusiastic early career Doctoral research scholar at the Centre for Nanotechnology Research, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India being passionate about exploring the applications of nanotechnology and biosensors in healthcare and bioremediation. He works with a team of experts and mentors, led by Prof. Dr. Vimala Raghavan, to investigate the properties and potential of 2D materials and semiconductors, such as MXenes and its derivatives, for developing novel and efficient biosensing platforms and devices promoting Environmental monitoring, Agriculture & Food safety and Healthcare diagnostics. He has had attended in several prestigious workshops and programs, such as the Proteomics Advanced Winter School 2021 at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay.  He is also trained in 'AI for Healthcare' from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden; LEITAT Technological Center, Spain; and GE Healthcare funded by EIT Health, European Institute of Innovation and Technology. After earning his B.Tech Biotechnology from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, India, he has recently been awarded the degree Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Biotechnology from VIT, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.  He recently started his research career with several internationally recognized research and review articles, book chapters, and a few patents in the area of interdisciplinary nanobiotechnology and healthcare technologies. For his outstanding enthusiasm in the field of research, he has been recognized by several organizations like RSC, ACS, ECS, MRS,etc. His primary goal is to solve real-life problems that can benefit the society, and is always eager to learn from and collaborate with anyone who shares this vision.
