Our research focuses on understanding and engineering the electronic and optoelectronic properties of low-dimensional materials, particularly 2D semiconductors and their heterostructures. We investigate defect, dielectric, and strain engineering in transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), explore high-mobility quantum materials, and study low-temperature magneto-transport phenomena. Our work also includes optoelectronic studies of twisted and hybrid nanostructures, electronic phase transitions, 2D perovskite nanomaterials, and nanostructured sensors. These efforts aim to advance next-generation electronic, optoelectronic, energy, and neuromorphic devices while addressing fundamental questions in condensed matter physics.
