Hello and welcome to Nanna's Touch Community Connections Lithgow Inc.
We welcome everyone to attend our supports and services - held at our venue - 5 Albert St Lithgow
Nanna’s Touch was created in 2013 as a support group for disability assistance and has now become a compassionate Support Hub of kindness and hope.
We became an Incorporation - December 2022, and a Charity - Feb 2025.
We have an amazing team of volunteers helping with our vision, supporting anyone within our community needing assistance in either a one-on-one, or group settings.
Our aim - to aid in community connection, mental health wellbeing, minimising loneliness & isolation, and food insecurity.
By providing our time, skills, experiences, and friendships to make life a little easier for anyone doing it tough.
Being able to share our own personal life experiences in these areas has made the connections much more comforting.
Our group programs, and supports run 4 days a week (Tuesday to Friday) at our venue - 5 Albert St Lithgow. NSW.
Nanna's Creative Crafts

Disability Support Conversation
available every Wednesday 10am to 12pm
no bookings required - free service.
provides individual planning, specific outcomes, and connections to services and supports, that best suit our client’s needs. NDIS support. -
While many struggle to access local services, we can still provide a means of support.
Our annual Accessible Lifestyle Expo – focuses on bringing all our local service providers together, allowing our community members easy access to chat and find out who may best suit their personal needs.
Wellbeing Social Connection group
held every Thursday 10am to 2pm
Providing social connections and support programs through assorted activities, art sessions, and games, outings, guest speakers from different areas of the community to share their service information, and more, everyone welcome

Nanna's Touch made the bold move into the Food Insecurity sector in mid 2023.
Seeing it as being a great need to many local families and individuals struggling to make ends meet.
Our focus being a connection point to support our community’s most vulnerable, while also focusing on the mental health wellbeing and social aspects, we can help assist in alleviating some stressors for our community.
Nanna's Community Kitchen
available each Wednesday
$5 for a 2-course meal -
we provide around 100 x 2-course meals per week
with the option of pickup @ 3.30pm,
sit-down @5pm, or delivery,
providing social inclusion and supports.
We are very lucky to partner with a few different services and organisations to assist in the outcomes for our soup kitchen and hampers. Receiving food rescue donation support from Aldi, Coles, Woolworths, Lithgow stores, and Winmalee Neighbourhood Centre.
Dave's Healthy Hampers
available every Friday at 12pm
$5 per hamper
providing over 60 hampers per week, for families and individuals needing support.
weekly hampers include fresh fruit/veges, breads/ pastries, as well as meat products, and non-perishables.
we also have available other hampers - such as - hygiene packs, cleaning packs, food staples, etc.
Xmas Gift and Xmas Hamper Projects
Special programs supporting local families in need.
Last year, 2024, we provided over 150 Xmas gifts,
over 120 families with Xmas Food Hampers
over 45 families with Snack Hamper Packs

We provide regular workshops and seminars to support our community, with a focus on positive social well-being connections, Mental Health understanding, Suicide Awareness, Disability assistance (including NDIS), and more

held at the Blast Furnace Park - 1st Saturday each month -
is based around Suicide awareness through understanding & support. -with Leanne + additional volunteers
Suicide Awareness Let’s Talk Lithgow
is a Community group supporting education to increase suicide prevention and mental health support
Nanna's Touch Community Connections is a local charity supporting Lithgow LGA with Food Insecurity, Disability, Mental Health, and Social Connection support and assistance.
