WHAT WE DO

We have established and continue to develop an impeccable litigation record. Even though we major in criminal and commercial litigation, we routinely represent clients in general matters including land disputes, construction litigation, environmental litigation, tax disputes and election petitions in all Courts of Judicature within Uganda and the greater East African Community. In our years of practice, we have delivered success in over 75% of the matters in which we represent our clients. Many of our matters have been instrumental in setting new grounds in the legal spheres and have influenced the constitutional development and the appreciation of the rule of law in the Country. We have not shied away from even the most complex matters and continue to offer representation where many would not.

EDDIE NANGULU is an Advocate of the High Court   of Uganda, competent to appear before all the   Courts of Judicature in and out of Uganda. He is the Founding/Managing Partner   of Nangulu & Mugoda Advocates since   its   inception. It is his astute and sound judgment   that has steered the firm to the heights at which   it  currently soars.

He joined the practice of law in the year 2009, first as   a law clerk with Madaba Modoi & Co. Advocates in   Mbale and grew in rank there from to Junior   Associate then senior Associate. He later joined   Nabende Advocates as a Partner, where he served   as Managing Partner until the 15th day of August   2019 when he and Counsel Denis Mugoda   established their joint legal practice under the name   and style Nangulu & Mugoda Advocates.

REBECCA KISAKYE is a committed lawyer/Advocate with vast experience in Business Law, Real Estate, Human Rights Law and Family Law, and has a gained a wealth of invaluable skills from years of advocating for property rights and policy changes in Uganda. Rebecca possesses an aggressive and proactive approach to delivering services on behalf of clients and is passionate about justice and fairness in her dealings with the law. 

She started her practice in the year 2017 as a Legal Assistant with Dagira & Company Advocates, Mbale. She later joined Nangulu & Mugoda Advocates in the year 2020 as an Advocate and is now the Managing Attorney.
