Would you like to get more involved at school? Have you considered becoming a room buddy? Being a room buddy is rewarding and fun- and it’s an opportunity for you to be an active, supportive partner in your child’s education.

Below is a brief description of each role:

Head Room Buddy: This person will help coordinate classroom parties (under the direction of the teacher), distribute letters to fellow class parents communicating details of parties, distribute a list of the teacher’s “Favorite Things,” send reminders to parents regarding teacher’s birthday and teacher appreciation, and work as liaison between teacher and parents for special events.

Assistant Room Buddy: This person will work together with the head room buddy, and take over the responsibilities of the Head Room Buddy should he/she be unable to carry out their duties. They will help the Head Room Buddy set up and organize parties and any special activities that may arise.

Classroom Helper: This person will allow his/her name to be placed on a reference list for the Head Room Buddy to call upon if support is needed.

Cheetah Dad: Be on a volunteer list where you can sign up to help with Dads on Duty (car drop off line), recess fun, field day concessions, and other special projects throughout the year.

Fall Events: Be on a committee to help organize and execute our beloved Cheetah Bash.

Spring Events: Be on a committee to help organize and execute our fan favorite - Sweetheart Dance.

Book Fair: Be on a volunteer list to work a shift or two at the register during our book fair and assist students in finding books they love.
