Govt. Sr. Sec. School Namthang is a CBSE affiliated School. It was established in the year of 1957 "started with primary" during the reign of (Chogyal) king Palden Thondup Namgyal. It is a government co-education school situated at a geographical location with the map value 5F8G+MQ3 at an elevation of 1246 m (4087.9 ft). It is situated in very beautiful scenic location.
