Hello! I'm Namritha Maddali :) 

I’m an MS in Computer Vision student at Carnegie Mellon University. My research interests lie at the intersection of Computer Vision and Applied Machine Learning, particularly in grounding learning-based models in the physics and dynamics of the real world to build more generalizable, robust, and physically aware systems.

Previously, I was a research intern at the AIRL Lab, IISc Bangalore, where I worked on modelling underwater environments and Physics-Informed Neural Networks under the guidance of Dr. Suresh Sundaram. I was also a research intern at CVIT, IIIT Hyderabad, where I worked on quantifying the limits of Multimodal Large Language Models for Autonomous Navigation. I also worked with IBM and HPE, where I contributed to open-source software and got to learn a lot about systems and LLM frameworks. 

I completed my B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at PES University, Bengaluru, where my final-year thesis, with Dr. Gowri Srinivasa, focused on Next-Frame Prediction in Autonomous Navigation.
