I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Penn Center for Learning Analytics (PCLA) at the University of Pennsylvania, under the supervision of Prof. Ryan Baker. I am also an Adjunct Research Fellow at Monash University.
In my research program, I am exploring the potential of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, sensor technology, and data science techniques for understanding individual learners' characteristics and designing adaptive learning systems.
Prior to joining Monash University, I completed a Ph.D. in Data Science from the School of Computing and Information Systems (CIS) at the University of Melbourne (UoM). During my doctoral studies, I have developed a unique interdisciplinary skillset in data science, human-computer interaction (HCI), and learning analytics. For instance, I have conducted several user studies in the lab to capture physiological (EDA, heart rate), behavioral (log, eye-tracking), and contextual (video) data using sensors.Â
In my current role as a postdoctoral researcher, I work on a range of projects that involves the collection, analysis, and interpretation of large multimodal datasets.
