The Nampa Zephyrs Pathfinder and Adventurer club is a children's ministry focused on providing an opportunity for young people to learn and grow in their relationship with Jesus and church ministry.

Adventurers: Ages 4-4th grade. Parents are encouraged to attend and participate with their children. Classes include crafts, Bible stories, games, and more.

Pathfinders: Grades 5-10. Pathfinders earn patches for accomplishments, learn discipline in drill, go camping, and do service for others in the community. Teens have the opportunity to become Teen Leaders in Training (TLTs) where they learn leadership skills that will help build confidence in helping others and being leaders in their community and church.

When We Meet: We currently meet the first, second, and third Wednesday of every month September through April from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Our History

The Nampa Church Pathfinder club began about 2014 as the Nampa Newts, changing their name to the Nampa Zephyrs in 2017. They chose their name because Nampa began as a railroad hub to Boise in 1903 leading to the founding of our town. A Zephyr is a type of passenger railroad car that traveled between Chicago and California. The California Zephyr line is still the closest passenger line to Nampa, Idaho, though it unfortunately no longer travels through our state.

Our Motto

Since our town began as a connection from the railroad to the state capital, our motto is "Making Connections for Christ." We pray that our members are able to make connections to God through their interactions in Pathfinders and Adventurers that they will be able to share with everyone they meet.
