Overview: As a teacher and mentor, I am committed to guiding and inspiring my students to excel. I believe that teaching excellence depends on not only the ability to deliver the material but also the ability to unlock student potential. Correspondingly, my teaching philosophy revolves around two core elements: (1) learning by doing and (2) student connection. As such, I emphasize creating real-world contexts and examples which allow students to apply what they learn. In addition, I try to make sure that students' voices are being heard and when reasonable, adapted accordingly to improve the class’s learning environment.
