Teaching Interests

I would like to lecture on theory and practice in improving database and analysis ability. Due to the emerging importance of Big Data analysis, it is crucial to be able to conduct quantitative marketing rather than existing theory-based marketing in order to build a more effective management strategy. In addition, given the various types of data that exist in the IT industry, students who are competent to data control and data analysis tactics will emerge as competitive candidates when they apply for jobs after school.

In my class, students will learn (1) how to analyze/control data, (2) how to model theory bases for hypotheses and data bases, (3) and how to execute quantitative marketing techniques. My course will include sessions on data mining, econometrics, statistics, databases, big data analysis, R, and Python programming.

At the end of semester, students will be able to conduct quantitative analysis, from basic statistical analysis to advanced modeling, and eventually develop an understanding of deep learning techniques.
