I am an Associate Professor in the Management of Technology at Korea University. My research interests center on Artificial Intelligence, with a particular emphasis on Generative AI, Explainable AI, Digital Transformation (DX), Business Analytics, Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Robo-Advisors, Econometric Models, and Quantitative Marketing. My work is grounded in advanced technical data analysis. My research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Marketing Research, Decision Support Systems, Knowledge-Based Systems, Expert Systems with Applications, Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery, and Information & Management. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am an experienced data scientist and have made significant contributions to both academia and industry by successfully leading and collaborating on a variety of projects with major international corporations, leveraging theoretical insights to drive practical impact.
My research interests focus on data analysis in various IT environments. I am interested in various research fields in the IT environment, such as big data analysis and survey data analysis but mostly focused on big data analysis. My main research areas are predictive research which improves performance using data mining, machine learning, and deep learning, and research on hypothesis testing based on econometric models. I have incorporated these research methods into the IT environment and conducted meaningful data-based research in various perspectives.
