At HVAC Nameplate Scanner, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your data.
Our application operates 100% offline without requiring user registration, login accounts, or external database syncing. Your scanned HVAC model numbers, serial numbers, raw OCR text, and images stay exclusively on your device.
Because all scanned images and extracted equipment records are stored locally on your device, you can completely erase your data using either of the following methods:
Clear App Storage (Wipe Local Data):
Open your device Settings.
Select Apps (or App Management) > HVAC Nameplate Scanner.
Tap Storage & Cache > Clear Storage (or Clear Data).
This instantly and permanently wipes all cached images, raw OCR history, and app configuration.
Uninstall the Application:
Uninstalling HVAC Nameplate Scanner from your mobile device automatically and permanently removes all locally stored app data and files.
If you submit a message or report a bug using our in-app Send Feedback form, that feedback message is stored on our secure Firebase/Firestore servers solely for technical improvement and troubleshooting.
To request the permanent deletion of your submitted feedback history:
Email Your Request: Send an email to nameplatesupport@gmail.com
Details Required: Please include the date range of your submission and any specific details or identifying information you provided in the feedback message so we can locate the record.
Processing Timeline: We will review and permanently delete your feedback records from our Firestore database within 30 days of receiving your request.
