Narcotics Anonymous is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. We have found through our group experience that the therapeutic value of one addict helping another is without parallel.
If you find that you cannot stop using drugs, give yourself a break, you are not alone. We have all been where you are and have found freedom through Narcotics Anonymous. We suggest that you find a meeting and join us on this journey of recovery.
Our hope is that this resource can help carry the message of Narcotics Anonymous to any addict who has the desire to stay clean.
The message of Narcotics Anonymous is hope. The promise is freedom.
The message of Narcotics Anonymous is that an addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use, and find a new way to live.
If you are new to NA and in Japan please email esnacjapan@gmail.com to contact a trusted servant in our community. You can also join a meeting in person or virtually. Our doors are open.
We are a small community of English-speaking Narcotics Anonymous meetings in Japan known as ESNAC-Japan.
Before the Corona pandemic, we were loosely organized and met weekly at churches in the Tokyo area. From March 2020, the fellowship moved online and adapted to Zoom meetings. At this time, a website was created to assist members to find our local meetings. Our primary purpose is to carry the message and make ourselves available to the addict who still suffers.
It is now 2022 and we are rebuilding our fellowship. The ESNAC-Japan Community was created to support unity within the English-speaking NA community in Japan while providing a forum to share experience, strength and hope among trusted servants. We meet on a quarterly basis to discuss issues affecting our community.
