Hello I have an issues as shown above. The problem I am facing is that there appears to be an invisible padding to the left of the radio button as listed above. My question is that is this due to a drawable issue with the radio or can I tweak an attribute to get it to align up with my text and input fields. If I need to use an alternate drawable, is there one I can get from the SDK with no margins / padding?

I'm new at programming for Android and I've been looking for days on an answer for my question with no luck. I'm trying to assign my radio button a value of 110 and I want to receive it later. Can anyone show me how I can achieve this in the xml and java file?

I made this about 18 months ago, just as the first APC (Android PC) boards hit the market. The original APC was an android-powered board with standard PC motherboard connectors, designed to be used with a keyboard and mouse. It had a tiny form factor (neo-ITX) and was ideal for building into a small repurposed case.

I looked out for old radios at sales after the board arrived, and picked up this Roberts one for 5. Although I'm not 100% impressed with the version of Android and the firmware upgrades and support offered, this is still in daily use as a radio and media player in the bedroom.

The APC came with a backplate, which finished off the rear neatly. I'd left the front of the radio intact, but wired its on/off switch to the motherboard - it's great to use the original switch to power it up!

It's fairly limited being on Android 2.3, and even with Google Play "added" there are very few compatible apps around, but with ES File Explorer, TuneIn and MX Player it has enough to stream videos from the network drive and play internet radio, which is its purpose.

An interesting one, though on a side note I wonder if instead of a mouse it would be possible to use the two radio knobs to move the cursor (etch-a-sketch style) using rotary encoders from an old roller-ball mouse?

When opening the top right menu in a playlist, there's usually a playlist radio option. This is not appearing. Tried deleting cache & data, also tried re-installing. Song radio is available for individual songs however. Playlist radio starts automatically after finishing a playlist. No way to start it manually. Version 8.6.0.830

Whether your car has space for a single din or double din unit, or you need a custom fit, our head units have an array of features to choose from. Our stereo systems have features such as FM and AM radio. Bluetooth, iPod input and charging, GPS, CANBus, internet access and WiFi, and compatibility with reversing cameras. Other features include detachable screens, and many of our models run on the latest Android operating system for maximum performance.

I have an Atoto in my forester, and an Eonon in my Silverado so i know how nice a good unit can be but this wasnt it. So i started searching and came across a manufacturer that was able to make a custom unit that would have a little more grunt. We settled on a unit with a 10.4" HD screen, PX6 Rockchip, 4GB ram, 32GB rom, better tuner, and better amp. This unit also had both FM, and AM radio, Canbus integration, Built in Android auto and apple carplay, and an optional dash cam. Once i got the new unit i installed it and shared my experiences with the fifth gen legacy group on facebook. There seemed to be a fair amount of interest in the unit so i started a group buy to help people interested in something like this avoid navigating through all of the units out there that arent quite up to snuff.

Has anyone bought one of these - looks pretty interesting. I have been thinking about getting something that does android auto - the S10-B model is under $200 - don't know if the 4GB+32GB is laggy or what...

Hello i have an controller with 8 buttons an 1 incremental encoder and i want to connect it to my android headunit. I came as far as seeing the button i press in serial monitor, however i have no idea how to code the encoder so i can turn up and down my volume.

shall your buttons and encoder be a generalised remote-control that replaces touching the screen for all and every app that is running on your android-device??

or

do you want to use it especcially for the "radio-app" ?

Is your device based on android but it is only a radio?

Hello

I tried to learn a bit to code, look into the new encoder library and used the example and coded my own buttons,

However i came across a few problems

-The Encoder works partialy, it does what it needs to but sometimes just rises to max oder goes the other way im rotating it. ( I hope someone can help me with that,it is the most imprortant problem that i have)

The serial monitor goes like

Volume 1

Volume 2

Volume 6

Volume 7

Volume 6

-i've read that the analog pins would be better for the Encoder, however everytime i try to code from digital to analog pin the encoder fails to start.

-last problem, my arduino wont go to dfu so i can make it a keyboard(it is a mega16u2,now ill buy a second on to try to code it with the second one)(i try to make it a keyboard as input for the android radio)

Here is my code an my setup

Hi, i have recently upgraded the original toyota touch radio to an aftermarket android radio. I would like to be able to connect the factory reversing camera to the new radio. Anyone have any info on the pinouts or which wires i need to connect to please?

Hi, i got this cable and wired it in, however the radio does not switch to reverse camera. I connected the wires properly (video to reverse camera video input, red to camera 12v and black to ground).

I have a problem with Bluetooth module, HC05/HC06. When Im using app on android phone, everything is ok. Pairing, connecting etc.. but when i used this app on head unit android radio i have problem with error 504. Bluetooth module is paired fine... i guess.. another app, like bluetooth terminal is connecting with this module correct.

My head unit android radio doesn't see BLE modules like HM10 (i don't know why phone does see these correct) so i decided to choice module which is visible, like HC05/06... but i have a problem with error 504...

You write that the pairing was weird. Is the module on the list of available modules in your application? It is possible that the radio connected to the module automatically in a different profile. Does the LED sometimes light up on the module as after connecting to the application?

Below is an example program from the Internet to control the LED by the BLE HM10 module. Everything works on the android phones (with differents android versions: 8, 9, 10), the modules are detected immediately.

The problem is on the car radio.

The program uses the bluetooth module for BLE from this link:

The problem starts only in the car radio with android 9. I was upgrading from version 8 because someone on the internet wrote that on version 8 "oreo" there is a problem with bluetooth communication ... it didn't help. Oh, the car radio connects to the phone without any problems, so I exclude the wrong bluetooth drivers in the radio system. 2351a5e196
