Counselling

Our communities, especially poor families in rural areas, have an increasing number of destitute females that fall into one of the following categories:

• School-aged girls with unexpected pregnancies

• Young children born with disabilities

• HIV-infected women, and

• Women with young children abandoned by their fathers.

Recognizing that these women and children need some help in terms of consolation, guidance and advice in overcoming their mental and physical agony, NAIOTH organizes counselling sessions for these women.
