Naina Devi Temple: The shrine is of Goddess Sati and was built in the area where her eyes fell when Lord Shiva was carrying her body. It is therefore considered a very sacred temple by the devotees. The temple is situated in the hill next to Naini lake. There are many shops on the way to the temple selling puja items.


Mall Road: The mall road officially named as Govind Ballabh Pant Marg runs parallel to Naini lake and joins the two main ends of the city the Mallital and the Tallital. People can find various eateries, shops (art crafts, handicrafts, handloom and woolen, Tibetan market), hotels and banks in Mall road. People can take a walk and enjoy the beautiful view of Naini Lake. Mall road is a no parking zone and during season time in the months of May, June and October the vehicles are prohibited between 6 pm to 10 pm.


Snow View Point: The view point is situated at an elevation of around 2270 meters above the sea level. The point can be reached by road and ropeway. There is no entry fee and the peak is open every day from 1030 am to 5 pm except on Saturday’s. People can get a majestic view of snow covered Nanda Devi Peak, Nanda Kot Peak and the Trishul Peak. There is also an amusement park and a Tibetan monastery called Gadhan Kunkyop Ling Gompa which can be visited. The view point is a must visit for photographers.


Tiffin Top: Tiffin Top also called as Dorothy Seat is situated at an elevation of around 2290 meters above the sea level. Visitors can trek (4 km) or take a pony ride or reach there by road. There is no entry fee and the peak is open every day from 8 am to 530 pm. Visitors can enjoy a picnic while getting a panoramic view of the majestic Kumaon hills and the Naini Lake. The view point is a must visit for photographers. Visitors can also do rock climbing and rappelling.


Naina Peak: Naina Peak also known as China Peak is situated at an elevation of around 2615 meters. There is no entry fee and the peak is open every day from 8 am to 530 pm. The peak is always covered with snow and is a popular 6 km trekking route. From the peak visitors get to view beautiful sunrise, sunset and snow clad Himalayan Mountains. The view point is a must visit for photographers.


Eco Cave Gardens: Eco Cave Gardens is situated in Mallital area on the Kaladungi road. The cave is open from 930 am to 530 pm and the entry fee is Rs 60, Rs 25 and Rs 25 for adult, child and camera respectively. These caves are in the shape of animals and the popular ones are the Tiger cave, Panther cave, Ape cave, Bat cave and Flying Fox cave. There are beautiful hanging garden inside the cave and a musical fountain with audio and visual effect.
