In verses 13–21, Jacob gives different words to several of his sons. How do you think the sons felt as they listened to their father?
2. 야곱은 어떤 마음과 생각을 담아 요셉을 축복하였을까요?
What kind of heart and thoughts do you think Jacob had as he blessed Joseph?
3. 야곱은 베냐민을 그동안 무척이나 아끼고 사랑하였습니다. 그런 베냐민에게 야곱은 어떤 유언을 남깁니까?

누군가를 축복한다는 것은 나 자신의 무력함에 대한 인정과 축복의 대상에 대한 진실한 사랑을 전제로 그를 지키시고 복 주실 이는 오직 전능하시고 선하신 하나님밖에 없다는 절대적인 믿음을 고백하는 행위라 하였습니다. 하나님은 이러한 축복의 간구를 기쁘게 여기시며 응답하여 주실 줄 믿습니다. 그동안 살아오면서 누군가로부터 받은 가장 감동적인 축복은 무엇이었는지, 그리고 지금 가장 축복을 하고 싶은 사람은 누구이고 어떤 내용으로 축복하고 싶은지 나누어 봅시다.
We said that blessing someone means admitting our own helplessness, truly loving the person we are blessing, and confessing our faith that only the almighty and good God can protect and bless that person. We believe that God is pleased with these prayers of blessing and that He answers them.
As you look back on your life, what is the most meaningful blessing you have ever received from someone? Also, who is someone you most want to bless right now, and what kind of blessing would you like to speak over that person?
