Hello, I'm Md Nahid Hasan Shuvo, but you can call me Nahid.
Embarking on a profound journey into the realm of Cyber Security Engineering, I'm currently a Ph.D. student at George Mason University, USA, as of Fall 2023. Under the guidance of Dr. Moinul Hossain, I'm delving deep into the assessments of the security vulnerabilities present in artificial intelligence in connected autonomous systems. It's a rapidly evolving space, and I am eager to contribute to ensuring the safety and reliability of the next generation of autonomous systems.
Before this, I earned my Master's in Computer Science, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, USA in the summer of 2023. Here, I was fortunate to work with Dr. Qiuming Zhu, where our research sheds light on Object Motion estimation and future frame prediction for autonomous vehicles — a pivotal step in the field.
Tracing back to my roots at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh, I secured my Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering in March 2020. Here, my interest in deep learning was ignited through my thesis on forecasting cloud workloads using time-series data.
While my research has spanned various domains, my overarching passion lies in the nexus of Security and Artificial Intelligence, particularly in Robotics. Secure AI, Computer Vision tailored for autonomous robots, and ensuring secure communications in multi-agent systems stand out as my core areas of interest. As we venture into an era of increased automation and intelligent systems, I am committed to playing an integral role in ensuring these advancements are both innovative and secure.
I look forward to exploring opportunities to collaborate, innovate, and ensure a safer digital future for everyone.
