Hi, I am Nahian Salsabil, a first-year graduate student at Computer Science in University of virginia. My research interest lies in the field of Software Engineering in Autonomous Driving. I focus on testing and verification of the autonomous vehicle systems in rare, safety-critical scenarios.
In addition to research, human psychology fascinates me. My long-term goal is to expand my knowledge and skill in the fields of my interest as well as to contribute my knowledge for the betterment of the world.
I am fortunate enough to serve as the course instructor for undergraduate-level programming languages, data structures, and algorithms in the Department of CSE, BRACU. It has been indeed a rewarding experience. Currently I am on study leave.
I am also dedicated to the advancement of women in STEM in my country. As part of this, I acted as the batch representative of BWCSE (Bangladesh Women in Computer Science), where we initiated many projects, e.g., seminars, workshops, competitions by featuring leading women in Computer Science to inspire female students of my university in advancing their careers in CSE.
I also love cooking, traveling, and binge-watching TV series. Thrillers, drama, and sitcoms are among my favorite genres.
