Curves, lattices and the Mizohata–Takeuchi conjecture
Hannah Cairo - University of Maryland
In this talk, I plan to introduce the Mizohata–Takeuchi conjecture and discuss some of the recent work on this problem, focusing on the connections to additive combinatorics and lattice geometry. In particular, I plan to discuss my recent work with R. Zhang in which we found a counterexample to the local version of the MT conjecture using a lattice-based construction.
