2026 NAFSIK International Multidisciplinary Conference

Innovation, Research and Global Collaboration

The National Association of Foreign Scholars in Korea (NAFSIK) is pleased to announce the 2026 NAFSIK International Multidisciplinary Conference, to be held on:

📅 Saturday, May 16, 2026
📍 Korea University of Technology and Education (Koreatech), Cheonan, South Korea
📝 Abstract Submission Deadline: April 3, 2026

This annual conference provides a vibrant forum for international scholars across disciplines to present their research, exchange ideas, and foster global academic collaboration. We warmly invite scholars at all career stages — with special encouragement for PhD students — to participate.

Conference Format

The conference will be held in person at Korea University of Technology and Education (KOREATECH) in Cheonan City.

• A limited number of live Zoom sessions will be available for scholars residing outside Korea.

• Selected sessions will be recorded and shared via the National Association of Foreign Scholars in KoreaYouTube Channel.

Submission Tracks

We offer two submission options:

1️⃣ Individual Paper Submissions
Submit a standalone paper for presentation.

2️⃣ Online Thematic Session Submissions
Propose a complete online session consisting of four thematically related papers.
This option encourages collaboration between NAFSIK members and international scholars.

Thematic Panels

Submissions are welcome in the following areas:

• Arts and Humanities

• Social Sciences and Law

• Korean Studies

• Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences

• Engineering

• Medical Sciences

• Management, Business and Economics

Submission Guidelines

• Complete the online submission form by April 3, 2026.

• Submit an abstract of up to 200 words per paper.

Additional details regarding venue location and directions (including Kakao Map links) will be available on the conference webpage. Members are encouraged to coordinate carpools via the NAFSIK KakaoTalk group.
