Southwest Area

Affiliate of the National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP)

Including the States of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah

Welcome to the Southwest Area web page. We are excited to have you visit our page and hope you will find some valuable information. Take a few minutes and browse the complete NAEOP website to get familiar with all the opportunities available. Our affiliations are built on professional development opportunities, networking with other states across the country and encouraging growth both personally and professionally. Providing opportunities to all office professionals and for our members is what we are all about. Without members, there would not be an association. I encourage you to take that first step in building your career and become a member of your local, state or national associations for Educational Office Professionals.

In addition to my position of Southwest Area Director, I have been asked to be the Chairman of the Affiliations and Advisory Council. Change is inevitable and as with many things, the NAEOP Board has been looking at our processes to see if it is time to update them. I will communicate with you any changes that may impact us.

Quarterly emails/newsletters will be sent to keep you updated on the Southwest Area and NAEOP. Feel free to reach out to your neighboring states/affiliates as well by forwarding the emails.

Feel free to visit our Facebook page or Twitter. Our current webmaster is Beth Heyden, (CA). If you have any questions, or need to contact me for any reason, you can email me at the address below.

Have a great year!

Teresa Himmelberger, CEOE

Southwest Area Director
