I've been following Rainbow Sky Creations on instagram for over a year and have used some of their other resources within my classroom. I was most curious to explore this resource and would definitely consider using it within my classroom.
The link takes you to their actual website, though I also recommend following them on instagram and on TeachersPayTeachers.
I think this resource would work in an elementary classroom. There are 8 different games and each hit on different topics/learning areas/subjects and therefore would suit a variety of students. I also think any of the games could be adapted to better suit a particular group of students.
I really believe that using games within the classroom to teach math skills is important. Students needs to see that math is fun, that learning doesn't have to just be on paper, and that they are capable of answering questions in a variety of forms.
Click through the picture to learn about the 8 games they've adapted to suit math skills. The one I'm most excited to use is the puzzles.
As a bonus for you, another great teacher who shares math games all the time and who has created a LOT Of content for teaching skills through jenga can be found here.
